Play Ball!

Play Ball! started off as a quick set of mechanics to facilitate a sports anime campaign and quickly evolved into a full game over the course of just two days. The focus of the game is to help players tell stories with their friends by combining baseball and anime into a single TTRPG! From taking stressful midterms to fighting for your spot at Nationals, Play Ball! gives you the tools to live out your dream as the main character of a sports anime!

Play Ball! gives you two styles of play to facilitate the most comfortable experience for your table. There's the primary style which provides plenty of unique mechanics to give you a fun game with lots of crunch to account for the many variables of play that can come up in Baseball. The secondary, alternative style allows for a more free-flowing narrative experience by simplifying the mechanics and leaving the control in the hands of the players rather than in the dice!

During play, you'll have your character "trope", your four key stats, and the special abilities that come with the trope you picked! Players can pick from 15 initial tropes that each have a unique primary and secondary ability attached to them! You have everything you need to play out the scenes you've always dreamed about with your friends.
